Piney Creek Farm traces its existence to January 1999, when Mike & Linda Okuley purchased
the beautiful 40 acre farm, initially as a place for the family to enjoy hunting and fishing in the heart
of Virginia.  Restoration of a 100 year old farm house, barn, and the construction of a fully stocked 3
acre pond then became the setting for our "log cabin".

    We chose Jim Barna Log& Timber Homes as the manufacturer of our log cabin after years of research,
and when construction began on 9/11/2004, we were almost immediately approached by many folks who also
wanted an authentic log home in Central Virginia.  This led to our deciding to become Jim Barna Log & Timber
Home distributors/consultants, and what has happened since then has been amazing.

    Applying the principals of “great product, incredible process and lots of passion” to our customer’s
desires has led us to having dozens of Jim Barna Log Homes and Cabins that have been built, or currently
in the construction stage, in Central Virginia.  We are extremely thankful to have led the entire Barna
Log Home's outside sales team in sales for the year 2007, 2008 and 2009.
